I am Avery Ortega. After receiving my Bachelor’s degree in Graphic Design at Rutgers, I pursued my passion in the graphic arts. Graphic Design fulfills both the artist in me as well as the problem solver. My approach to design is usually very logical and makes the message clear. Not only do I have a solid understanding of design but I am very strong technically.

​ In school, I have handled a variety of projects. I’ve done a mural project which is purely aesthetic based. I have gained technical skills utilizing printing and InDesign software to create projects such as books, fliers and pamphlets. My goals are to make meaningful designs that not only look pleasing but also convey my message.

In my free time, I like to think of ideas and work on projects that tackle issues that I feel passionate about. Some of my hobbies include playing video games, listening to music and constantly trying to find a way to combine graphic design and my interests.
